East Green Energy can announce the successful planning approval for a large scale renewable energy project at Camgrain, featuring the installation of 1,700 solar panels.

Acting as the project developer, our team provided full end to end support, from initial system design and sizing to detailed mechanical and electrical engineering. We also managed the entire planning application process, working closely with all stakeholders over a five month period to achieve approval.

We are now continuing to work alongside the Local Planning Authority to discharge the necessary planning conditions ahead of construction. This ensures a seamless transition from planning to delivery, keeping the project on schedule and fully compliant.

Once operational, the new solar PV system will generate around 25% of the site’s total energy demand, cutting reliance on grid electricity and helping Camgrain advance its long-term sustainability strategy.

This project represents another significant step in our mission to help agricultural and commercial clients across the UK and Europe to reduce energy costs, improve efficiency and invest in a cleaner future.
