Welcoming MP Jenny Riddell-Carpenter to our expanded Melton offices
We recently welcomed local MP Jenny Riddell-Carpenter to our newly extended offices in Melton, Woodbridge, marking an exciting step forward for East Green Energy as we continue to grow.
The visit was a great opportunity to show Jenny around the expanded space and introduce her to more of the team. As the business has grown, so has the need for more room, and the extension reflects the pace of work we’re seeing across our projects.
During the visit, we had a really useful conversation about some of the key issues facing businesses in Suffolk. This included skills and recruitment, infrastructure challenges, and the pace at which renewable energy projects can be delivered locally. These are all areas that have a direct impact on our work and the wider sector.
“It was great to show Jenny around our expanded offices and introduce her to more of the team,” said Jack Gawthrop, Commercial Director at East Green Energy. “We had a constructive conversation about the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses, particularly around skills, infrastructure and the pace of renewable development in Suffolk. As a growing SME, it’s encouraging to have the chance to share our experience and ambitions for the future.”
It was a valuable chance to exchange views and highlight what’s happening on the ground for businesses working in renewable energy.
The additional office space comes at a time when the team is busier than ever, with more projects underway across the UK and more people joining the business.
