Generating income as well as savings through green energy incentive schemes

Ask us about how to generate income as well as save on utility bills: we’re sure to be able to explain
it in terms you can understand.

The government is backing renewable energies with a number of incentive programmes:

Feed-in payments for electricity generation through photovoltaic panels and wind turbines. Install
one of these systems, provide for all or some of own electricity needs and get paid for feeding-in any
excess energy generated to support the National Grid. The government have set payment amounts.

Payments for heat generation through Solar thermal, ground and air source heat pumps from
April 2011.

payment amounts.

Grants to support renewable energy installations have become less available in recent times.
However, some local authorities and communities do undertake independent support-funding
initiatives, so it is always worth checking with them to see if any scheme is available.
