In May 2010, the Government closed the Low Carbon Buildings Programme grants system to new
applications in favour of re-focusing on renewable energy feed-in tariff incentives and renewable
heat incentive systems.

The eagerly awaited Renewable Heat Incentive Premium Payment Scheme has been announced offering grants for Solar Thermal and Heat Pumps for more information look here on our Renewable Heat Incentives section.

The Feed-In Tariff (FIT) will provide all generators of renewable energy with a
good rate of income from their generated power, making renewable energy systems significantly

It is possible that some local grants or support funding may be available through bulk- purchase
community schemes or locally sponsored initiatives. East Green Energy advises that you always
